Us-awareness in the damp and dark
Radical empathy is a term popularised by a British philosopher, Roman Krznaric, trying to explain that empathy itself is not enough to create change. But what does this have to do with moss? Well, everything. Empathy is an ability to relate to someone/something’s feelings and the more similar the person/thing is to us, the easier it is to empathise. So how do we, humans, one among the youngest species on the planet empathise with one of the oldest? Moreover, what’s the practical side of empathy? Let’s figure this out in an immersive and co-creative workshop.
